Open Borders and The Swine Flu

Our open borders are placing Americans at risk and some may die due to our open borders and non enforcement of immigration laws!
The say the swine flu started in Mexico, a country with a poor health care system and really no education for it’s citizens like in America. But yet our country allows them to sneak in with our open borders and then they allow them to stay. Many of these illegals do not watch TV to get updated on getting a swine flu shot and many will not get one anyway.
The other day I was shopping and a non English speaking lady had her kids in the store and they where all coughing my way without covering their mouth and the mother did not care.
This is an invasion of people with a virus that is already out of control and our country is failing to protect us.
When you try to enforce our laws in this country, these law breaking illegals play the race card and forget as their supporters do that they are in fact law breakers!
Yet while this is taking place the vast majority of America says nothing and sits in a corner with their mouths shut.
America is under attack not only by the swine flu, but also by the draining of our social systems set up to help Americans and yet Americans are being turned away.
We need to close the anchor baby loop holes in our laws and shut off our social programs to those who have broken our laws by sneaking into America.
Americans need to play the American race card as we are the ones facing discrimination in our own country.
Who needs airplanes for another attack upon America? You infect people with a virus and then sneak them in on our open borders and allow them to spread out across America. The swine flu is a perfect example on how easy this can be done!

Health Care Reform Will Cover Illegal Aliens

1. Does Not Require Proof of Citizenship to Obtain Health Services: While Section 246 (page 143) of the bill expressly prohibits illegal aliens from receiving government-run healthcare, the bill does not include a specific requirement that a person prove his or her citizenship in order to obtain affordability credits, which means that illegal aliens could obtain coverage.

Section 152 states that “all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services”. This provision has the potential to include illegal immigrants because it may interpret “personal characteristics” to include legal status (Pages 50-51, 143).

2. Requires That If One Family Member Is Covered, All Members Covered: Another provision states that if one member of a family is afforded coverage all members would have coverage, thereby creating another loophole to give taxpayer-subsidized health care to illegal aliens. If a child of illegal aliens is born in the United States, then the entire family becomes eligible for coverage (Page 133).

3. Requires Free Translation Services: Sections 1222 of the bill will provide free translation services and interpreters to those who are not proficient in English. Section 1728 amends SCHIP to provide translation services to children of families and other individuals for whom English is not the primary language (Pages 408-418 and 782).

Meanwhile, 83% of Americans want citizenship verification requirements for any new health care legislation…but not Democrats. Who are the extremists here?

Also, if ObamaCare were not a redistribution scam intended to cover 15 million new potential Democrat voters at everyone else’s expense, why would Democrats have even bothered to vote down Rep. Nathan Deal’s amendment to prohibit ObamaCare from covering illegal immigrants? If Obama’s feigned outrage at this “pure misinformation” were the least bit sincere, Democrats would have had no reason to reject this measure at all, as it would have merely been redundant and changed nothing.

If it is absolutely true that illegal aliens are not to be covered, then why did Democrats in a House committee on July 30th vote against an amendment, offered by Rep. Nathan Deal, that would have required health care providers to use a verification program to prevent illegal aliens from receiving government-provided health care services? While all Republicans and five Democrats on the committee voted for it, 29 Democrats voted against it, killing the amendment

If you catually read the bill, you’ll see the “personal characteristics” non-discrimination applies to all health care, but the “no federal payments” clause only applies to affordability credits.

This means that what is already the case in ER settings- that an illegal can’t be turned away- will also apply to doctor’s offices. Thus, this is an expansion of care for illegal immigrants.

Read the bill yourself and you’ll see this.

Verification is essential. Also… this “Personal Characteristics” thing….That is truly vague. But in 1000+ pages, they surely have room to protect the taxpayer from footing the bill for the illegal immigrant population. This problem is due to federal inaction of enforcement that has lead to massive populations of illegal immigrants overwhelming our country with a very heavy social burden. A burden that will be a problem for generations to come.

We need enforcement of the laws enacted in the 1986 amnesty bill. It cost the American people dearly when we passed that law and we never got the enforcement that was promised. Instead we got the problem multiplied ten fold. Now over 20 years later…. we have upwards of 12-20 million more illegal immigrants and law enforcement is still not there. If healthcare is another added benefit, we will never regain control over illegal immigration.

America has a bleeding heart for illegal immigrants…. but the country is bleeding to death now.

Free Health Care For Illegal Aliens

Debate over Health Care to Illegal Aliens will Continue after August Recess. Well, there should be no need for such a debate as they should not get it! They already get free health care by flooding the ER rooms at our local hospitals in Phoenix,AZ.
In the Health Care Bill it does say that if one family member can get it, all family members can get it, which means anchor babies will open the door.
A major weak part of the bill is the following:
Although the bill contains a section that excludes illegal aliens from coverage, there are no provisions within the bill requiring beneficiaries to show their citizenship status.

Cash for Clunkers’

A billion-dollar government program to boost car sales benefits few interested customers, according to Valley car dealers.

“It is helping some people get rid of some pretty bad cars that they’ve been driving around, but there are an awful lot of customers that don’t qualify,” Kevin Murphy said.

Murphy is general manager at Valley car dealer Earnhardt Dodge.

Cash for Clunkers has nearly doubled sales at Earnhardt Dodge and other Valley dealerships.

Yet, Valley dealers said most customers interested in taking the part in the program do not meet all of the government requirements.

“I’d say probably half qualify for the government program with their vehicle,” Kevin Murphy said.

Your vehicle must get less than 18 miles per gallon and be less than 25 years old.

You must also have owned and insured the vehicle for at least a year.

The maximum government rebate is $4,500 to trade an old gas guzzler for a more fuel-efficient car.

“A lot of folks come in and they don’t realize their car is worth more than the government would give them,” Murphy said.

When cars do qualify, drivers’ credit history often put the brakes on ‘Cash for Clunkers’ sales.

“It’s probably 50 percent, 45 percent of customers don’t qualify for conventional financing,” Murphy said.

Job losses, late mortgage payments, and other economic issues have sunk many customers’ credit ratings.

It is also tougher to get a vehicle loan this year than in years past.

As with most Washington ran programs, those who need the help cannot get the help!

Illegal Immigrant News

In November 2008, an illegal immigrant facing deportation and running for political office in Rhode Island was prosecuted and found guilty of using her position as a Rhode Island DMV clerk to sell driver’s licenses to “out of state” drug dealers with stolen identities. The scam included 11 others. The beauty of the scam was that the DMV clerk, Dolores Rodriguez LaFlamme, was able to pursue her illegal activity because Rhode Island does not verify an applicant’s license information from another state.

But no other state does either, which is why the 2005 federal secure driver’s license law, REAL ID, imposed a “one driver/one license” rule on states, requiring them to ensure that applicants be vetted for other licenses in other states before being issued a license. That rule exists because 18 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were able to get a total of 30 driver’s licenses and non-driver IDs from multiple states.

If REAL ID stays in effect, corrupt government workers considering the LaFlamme scam will be out of luck: millions of dollars under the current federal driver’s license security law are being used right now to fix this problem of states being unable to query other states to verify out-of-state driver’s license information.

However, if the proposed PASS ID legislation is approved, as DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, the National Governors Association, and a handful of Democrats and even fewer Republicans want, the LaFlamme scam will remain viable. Why? PASS ID repeals the “one driver/one license” rule of REAL ID. Instead, it gives a wink and a nod to the current efforts to streamline applicant vetting by turning this important REAL ID program into a “demonstration project” geared towards never seeing the light of day.

If Ms. LaFlamme had had the chance to win political office and not be deported or not go to jail, I’m sure she’d be a big advocate of PASS ID. Because it is folks like her, not the law-abiding, who would most benefit from PASS ID allowing states to keep blinders on in regard to who their applicants are, and whether they legitimately earn the privilege of a state-issued ID.

Oh, and the added benefit Ms. LaFlamme provided her drug-dealing clients: no interviews and no driving tests. The roads were all the more unsafe, thanks to Ms. LaFlamme. The sorry end note is, there are lots of scams like this one out there. This one just had a little extra heat in it.

As Barack Obama turns America upside down, the subject of illegal immigration has almost become an afterthought.

Sure, the economic calamity heightened by his leadership has probably slowed the rate of illegal entry into the country. But there are plans in Congress to provide amnesty for tens of millions already here – adding to the illegal, ACORN-stacked voter rolls for the elections of 2010 and 2012.

U.S. Rep. Zack Space has added a proposal to the public health care debate that would bar illegal immigrants from receiving government-funded health benefits.

Meanwhile, he and other so-called “Blue Dog” Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee continue to negotiate with House leadership to craft a health care reform bill.

“I am preparing an amendment to make it clear that this legislation is not designed to benefit those persons who are undocumented,” Space, D-Ohio, said during a conference call Thursday. “It should benefit only those who are American citizens.

“There has been a lot of concern among the public about this issue, and I want to make sure the beneficiaries of this legislation are tax-paying Americans.”

Under his amendment, those applying for government-funded health insurance would have to show proof of citizenry - just as is currently required by those receiving Medicare, according to Space.

The House leadership wants the health care legislation completed before Congress adjourned for August recess, but this time frame had been in doubt as the some members have pushed for more time. Still, the bill could be ready this weekend, Space said.

“It’s been a busy week … a stressful week … but also a very fruitful one,” he said. “We began the markup in the Energy and Commerce Committee, and we will continue until it is complete. That may be (today), that may be Saturday, that may be even Sunday.

“As it now stands … this will go a long way toward meeting the concerns of rural Ohio.”

Space has pushed for higher Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements for hospitals in rural areas to be included as part of any health care reform. This is because many hospitals in East Ohio have a higher percentage of elderly patients, and cuts in what they receive for providing treatment through Medicare and Medicaid can severely impact their bottom lines, according to Space.

Any cuts also could force some medical clinics and facilities to shut down, leaving many rural areas without access to basic health care, he continued.

Overall, the proposed health care reforms before Congress will benefit Americans, he said.

“These changes will allow those rural hospitals to continue to provide quality care,” he said. “They also will help protect small businesses. They will begin to bring down the cost curve, and address the rising cost of health care generally.

“And this bill is deficit neutral. The cost of the bill will actually come down over time.”

Most experts have placed the cost of health care reform at more than $1 trillion over the next decade.

On Thursday, Space admitted that he was surprised by the short time frame that was given lawmakers to craft the reform legislation.

“And I was not alone,” he said. “I believe the public feels like I do.

“Given the significance of this legislation, it should require a deliberate, thoughtful process. I felt strongly we needed more time to digest this - with what the bill entails. That was a major part of the discussion.”

Obama wants to make all these illegal aliens legal. You need to contact your representatives and tell them NO ILLEGAL ALIENS, DEPORT THEM DO NOT REWARD THEM OR THEIR ANCHOR BABIES.
DO NOT use words like immigrants, that extends them so type of right to think they should be here. They think we can not live with out them, this is our country not the welfare office to Mexico. Support this guy, space, you won’t find many Demos willing to say no to illegals.

We should try any leader that will not say no to illegals.

It’s time for ZERO TOLERENCE with these ILLEGAL ALIENS. It’s time for them get out of this Country and back in their own Country where they belong. When we get rid of the ILLEGAL ALIENS, we will get rid of all the problems that go with them.

Illegal Immigrants Leaving AZ in Droves!

The number of illegal immigrants living in Arizona has plunged by one-third in the past two years amid a dismal job market and stiffer enforcement of immigration laws, according to researchers who released a new report.

Arizona saw the largest decline of any state, according to researchers at the Center for Immigration Studies, whose report shows that the nation’s undocumented population fell nearly 14 percent from the summer of 2007 to the first quarter of this year, following years of steady growth.

The report comes as the Obama administration is gearing up to push for major immigration reforms, including a possible legalization program for millions of illegal immigrants in the U.S.
The loss of illegal immigrants has had ramifications for the Arizona economy, with some saying the exodus means less of a drain on taxpayer services and others saying the loss has hurt businesses and tax revenue.

Last week, Chandler-based Bashas’ Supermarkets closed three Food City stores in predominantly Latino neighborhoods in Phoenix and Glendale, which some analysts said reflected the beating many businesses have taken as a result of an exodus of Latino immigrants and their families.

The report by the Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the nation’s illegal-immigrant population fell from a peak of 12.5 million in the summer of 2007 to 10.8 million in the first quarter of 2009, a drop of 13.7 percent.

The center is a research organization in Washington, D.C., that favors less immigration to the United States.

The size of the decline suggests that not only are fewer illegal immigrants coming to the United States but also that a significant number are returning home, said Steven Camarota, a researcher at the center and one of the report’s authors.

“It’s a significant break” following years of rapid growth in the nation’s undocumented population, he said. “We have never seen this large and sustained decline in the illegal population in this way before.”

The center’s report was based on an analysis of less-educated Hispanic immigrants taken from the Census Bureau’s monthly Current Population Survey.

A report last week by the Pew Hispanic Center, which analyzed government population surveys from the U.S. and Mexico as well as Border Patrol apprehensions, found that immigrants, both legal and illegal, are not leaving the country.

Randy Capps, a senior policy analyst at the Migration Policy Institute, said there is no question the illegal immigrant population has stabilized. But he believes Camarota’s report may have inflated the size of the drop because it focused on a narrower segment of the population: less-educated Hispanic immigrants.

He said any net decline has more to do with the annual return of illegal immigrants to Mexico in the fall and winter months offset by fewer immigrants coming to the U.S. because of a lack of jobs and stepped-up deportations.

After reaching a high of 530,000 in 2007, Arizona’s undocumented population now numbers about 350,000, a drop of about 180,000 people, Camarota said.

The exodus is good news for Arizona taxpayers, Camarota said, because illegal immigrants tend to work in low-wage jobs and therefore contribute less in taxes than the public services they use.

But immigrant advocates say the loss of so many people has been a big blow to the state’s economy, where empty storefronts, vacant homes and empty apartments dot many immigrant neighborhoods.

“When you lose people, you lose not only workers but people who are consumers, and these people were great consumers,” said Elias Bermudez, chief executive and founder of the Phoenix-based Immigrants Without Borders.

Bermudez says the center’s estimate that 180,000 illegal immigrants have left is too low.

“I may even go higher than that, as many as 250,000 people,” Bermudez said. “I get two or three calls a day from people who say they are leaving.”

Capps said he believes the “pause” in illegal immigration to the U.S. should make immigration reform less contentious.

“It makes the conversation a little easier,” he said.

Camarota, however, said the declining population could play both ways.

On one hand, it could give a boost to a legalization program because the population is no longer growing and therefore is more manageable, Camarota said.

On the other, it could debunk arguments that illegal immigrants don’t leave.

“Some could say (the illegal-immigrant population) is still a big problem, but we are getting it under control,” Camarota said, “while others would say, ‘Why have an amnesty (program) when there is an alternative and people will go home?’ ”

97 Illegal Immigrants Discovered In Tractor-Trailer
Arizona Department of Public Safety officers discovered nearly 100 suspected illegal immigrants hidden inside a refrigerated tractor-trailer Wednesday evening, authorities said.

DPS stopped the tractor-trailer on Interstate 19 after receiving a tip from the U.S. Border Patrol, according to a news release from DPS.

During consideration of the health care reform bill (H.R. 3200), the House Ways & Means Committee rejected an amendment that would have helped ensure illegal aliens would not receive taxpayer-funded health care benefits.

Amnesty Supporters Criticize E-Verify in Senate and House Subcommittee Hearings:
Last week, E-Verify — the electronic employee verification system that allows employers to verify the work eligibility of their employees - was the topic at both Senate and House subcommittee hearings. (See FAIR’s E-Verify Backgrounder). The Senate Judiciary Committee’s Immigration Subcommittee and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s Government Management, Organization, and Procurement Subcommittee heard from witnesses about the program.

Despite the great strides that E-Verify has made since its inception in 1996 and its great popularity, some in Congress still question its effectiveness. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the Chairman of the Senate Immigration Subcommittee, presented harsh criticism of E-Verify, calling the program “half-hearted and flawed.” Sen. Schumer and other members of the subcommittee expressed concern about what they say is an inability of the system to detect document fraud and identity theft. Senator Schumer did not mention the vast amount of fraud the program can detect when illegal aliens attempt to gain employment by providing invalid Social Security numbers. In fact, although the program reduces an employer’s dependence on screening an identification document, Sen. Schumer incorrectly stated that the current system “require[s] employers to make subjective determinations about an employee’s identity or legal status.”

Chinese illegals paying $20,000 to cross border:
According to Border Patrol, Chinese immigrants are willing to pay smugglers top dollar, tens of thousand of dollars a piece. International smugglers guide them from The Peoples Republic of China to Mexico and into Arizona.

ILLEGAL ALIENS are destroying this Country and making it a third world Country like that from which they came. It’s tome for them to get back to their own country where they belong. They DON’T belong here. When we get rid of the ILLEGAL ALIENS, we get rid of all the problems that go with them. THAT IS A FACT!
I could never understand how federal judges could mandate educating illegal aliens while the federal government refuses to pay for it. The states are getting pennies on the dollar for what illegal immigration is costing. Education, healthcare, incarceration, depressed employment and wages for citizens, and the human cost in victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens. We have the means to stop illegal immigration forever. With tools such as E-Verify, the SAVE act, 287g and REAL ID illegal immigration will end with enforcement of our laws. Anyone supporting amnesty for illegals is a traitor. Don’t be fooled by the BS arguments of how they just want to work and do jobs Americans won’t do. We have more than 15 million Americans out of work. We have more than 8 million illegal aliens fully employed. Our worthless politicians continue to pander to the pro amnesty groups while Americans suffer. ENOUGH! ILLEGALS GO HOME!

When I go to the food bank, I am probably one out of three white people in line and the rest (about 100) seem to be illegals. One lady in front of me showed a Mexican license as “proof of residency”. If you’re here legally, go stand in a food line and let’s crowd these people out.

Department of Homeland Security Not Enforcing The Law

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio says the federal government released three illegal immigrants arrested in a crime sweep because their arrests didn’t fit new Department of Homeland Security policies.

Because the three people had committed no other criminal or civil violations, the deputies were instructed by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to let them go free.

Arpaio said DHS breached a promise that he could operate under an existing agreement that allows him to enforce immigration law.

“I am stunned that this reversal came about so soon after I was promised the old policy would remain in effect for the immediate future,” Arpaio said.

The illegal immigrants released by ICE did not commit any civil or criminals violations. Prior to the new ICE policy, they would have been booked, processed and deported as illegal immigrants, Arpaio said.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement late Friday afternoon. “The determination to release these individuals lies solely within the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. ICE officials gave permission to the MCSO officer to question the individuals and had no other engagement.”

Arpaio’s crime suppression operation netted 48 arrests Thursday, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sweep, which is the 10th the sheriff’s office has conducted, focused on the southeast cities in the Valley — Chandler, Tempe and Mesa.

Of those arrested, 12 were suspected illegal immigrants.

Ms.Janet has stated being an illegal in this country is not breaking the law and is keeping the same soft policies in place as when she was Governor! She is attacking Sheriff Joe as she did as Governor when she took away money to run his department.

Our current Governor is no better as I find it hard to believe she can find her way to the bathroom alone.

Go to Good Sam Hospital in Phoenix and visit the ER room and see all the FREE medical care they get just there. Watch all the babies rolling out the door which you will now have to fully support under our current laws!

The Governor, DES and local news outlets will not reply to my letters concerning illegals on our welfare rolls. The only reply from a DES worker was for me to deal with it!

When you go shopping and they pull out their foodstamp card, you can see they are eating quite well while American kids go hungry to bed! While many Americans have no health insurance, they get it for free. With 250,000 homeless vets, they live high on the taxpayer also getting Section 8 housing.

Under our current spread your legs law and have a baby, they got it made in the USA!

Illegal Aliens Bringing Prostitution To Us!

Illegal alien and convicted felon Emma Tlacoxolal-Perez was sentenced this week in U.S. District Court to 33 months in prison for running brothels in Chesapeake, Newport News, James City County and Williamsburg.

The Mexican national was the head of a prostitution ring which employed women smuggled into this country from Mexico, and only catered to other illegal aliens. Tlaccoxablal-Perez, along with co-conspirator Felipe Vargas-Ortega, passed out business cards to advertise for the brothel known as El Nopal (The Prickly Pear).

Though it may be surprising to some that houses of prostitution catering exclusively to illegal aliens have set up shop in this country’s neighborhoods, the problem has become widespread.

Just as illegal aliens have spread throughout the United States, an epidemic of human trafficking to supply the brothels which cater to them has spread to every corner of this nation.

Most of these women are confined in locked rooms with nothing but the clothes on their backs, and are often beaten. Of course, the women who are kept in these prostitution rings are illegal aliens as well, and are afraid to report what is being done to them. They are told that if they leave, their families back home will be murdered.

In addition to the dangers that come with having illegal alien men roaming around our neighborhoods in the middle of the night, in search of cheap sexual gratification, we now have large-scale prostitution rings engaging in kidnapping and human trafficking.

Apparently, many illegal aliens are also doing the jobs that American women won’t do as well.

Most Americans “accept” both the Mexican invasion and the fallout like these whorehouses because the American Public School system has convinced them that “diversity is our strength.” The average citizen, educated in the US Dept. of Education sponsored camps, does not know an INVASION when it is staring them right in the eye.

Our government fails the most basic and primary task & duty of government, to protect this Nation and its Citizens from invasion and enforce its laws.

They refuse to abide by our Constitution, refuse to enforce our Immigration Laws and refuse to honor their Oath of Office!

Our Government, past & present, Republican & Democrat, have allowed the invasion of 20 to 30 million criminals and uneducated peons which is the largest invasion of any Nation, at any time, by any means & in direct violation of Article IV, Section IV of our Constitution.

Our leaders must enforce our laws to protect our country and it’s people!

DHS Janet Napolitano claims illegal immigration “is not a crime”
During a recent CNN interview, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano was asked about the man known as “America’s toughest sheriff,” Joe Arpaio and the initiative he has taken by apprehending thousands of illegal aliens found in Maricopa County.

CNN’s John King said: “A lot of Democrats in Congress want you to investigate him. They think he is over the line. He says he is just enforcing the law and the problem is the federal government.”

In response, Napolitano said: “Sheriff Joe … knows that there aren’t enough law enforcement officers, courtrooms or jail cells in the world to do what he is saying.”

She went on to say: “What we have to do is target the real evil-doers in this business, the employers who consistently hire illegal labor, the human traffickers who are exploiting human misery. ”

“And yes, when we find illegal workers, yes, appropriate action, some of which is criminal, most of that is civil, because crossing the border is not a crime per se..”

Once again, Janet Napolitano is either ignorant of the law or simply being dishonest.

Crossing our borders without legal authorization is indeed a crime. The specific law states: “Any alien who enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers . . . shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both.”

Additionally, entering this country illegally after being previously having been deported is a felony, and subject to a much stiffer penalty.

During her short tenure, Napolitano has ended work site enforcement, refused additional funding to help protect this country from violent Mexican drug cartels, and called veterans and political conservatives potential terrorists.

It is clear that Napolitano has no intention of enforcing our immigration laws. Apparently, in her mind, the laws do not even exist.

It seems indefensible that crossing illegally into sovereign nation is not a crime. Any other country in the world, you better have your papers in order or its very likely jail and a severe fine–followed by deportation. Some countries with dictators at the reigns, you could disappear without a trace.

As I said before decades of politicians have no doubt been financially bribed or offered favors to weaken our immigration laws. The fact is unlawfully entering the United States in not a criminal, but just a CIVIL OFFENSE. You must re-enter this country after being deported to add any weight to the “Rule of Law.” If THE PEOPLE made crossing the border by any means a felony–we would have a massive exodus of illegal immigrants. It is only because of observant organizations that the underfunding of the border fence, E-Verify has been under close scrutiny.
